Jacksonville Speedway is owned and operated by Last Chance Promotions, LLC (“Jacksonville Speedway,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you visit jacksonvillespeedway.com and our related sites and apps (including our driver registration app at app.jacksonvillespeedway.com), buy tickets, sign up for updates, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Services”).
Information We Collect
Information you give us. Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Ticket and event purchases: your name, email address, mailing/billing address, phone number, the tickets or events you buy, and payment details. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Email newsletter sign-ups: your email address (and name, if provided) when you choose to receive news and promotions.
- Driver registration: when a driver pre-registers, we collect the driver’s name, mobile phone number (verified by a one-time SMS code), car number, class, hometown and state, an optional email address, and payout (“payee”) name.
- Text message (SMS) opt-in: if you choose to receive text messages from us, we record that you opted in and the number you opted in with. See “Text Message (SMS) Program” below.
- Direct communications: information you provide when you email, call, or message us.
Information we collect automatically. When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain “Device Information” about your device and browsing, including your IP address, browser type, time zone, referring pages, the pages and products you view, and how you interact with the Services. We collect this using technologies such as:
- Cookies — small data files placed on your device, often containing an anonymous unique identifier.
- Log files — records of actions on the Services, including IP address, browser type, and access times.
How We Use Your Information
- To sell and fulfill ticket and event orders, process payments, and provide entry to events;
- To operate driver registration and prepare event entries;
- To communicate with you about orders, registrations, events, schedule and race-night changes, and — when you have opted in — newsletters and text messages;
- To screen orders for fraud or risk;
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services and understand how they are used;
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How We Share Your Information
We share personal information with service providers who help us run the Services, and only as needed to perform their work for us. These include our website host, payment processor, email marketing provider, text-messaging provider, and the app and identity-verification infrastructure that powers driver registration (including Google Firebase for hosting and phone verification, and Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from abuse).
We may also disclose your information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests and legal process, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Jacksonville Speedway, our patrons, or others.
We do not sell your personal information. In particular, we do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile information is used only to deliver the messages you signed up for and to operate the Services.
Text Message (SMS) Program
Jacksonville Speedway offers a text messaging program for drivers and fans who opt in.
- What we send: registration confirmations, lineups, rainout and schedule/race-night changes, event reminders and procedures, and occasional event promotions.
- How you opt in: by checking the SMS consent box on our registration form, or by otherwise providing your number and agreeing to receive texts. Consent is not a condition of registering for or purchasing anything.
- Message frequency varies; typically a few messages per month.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 217-371-3653 or jaxspeedway@gmail.com.
- As stated above, we do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, and understand site usage. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; some features may not work correctly if you do. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track,” we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
Data Retention
We retain your order, registration, and contact information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business and financial records, and comply with our legal obligations, unless you ask us to delete it and we are not required to keep it.
Your Choices and Rights
- Marketing email: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email.
- Text messages: reply STOP to opt out at any time.
- Access, correction, and deletion: you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
