World of Outlaws veteran Terry McCarl was the winner of the Monster Energy Sprint Car Series Race at Jacksonville Speedway Friday night. McCarl made a pass on Springfield’s Jimmy Hurley midway through the race and held on for the win. Brian Brown from Grain Valley, Missouri finished third.
The Shawn Marquard Memorial modified race was won by Wes O’Dell, followed by Brian Dively. Modified Drivers visited the grandstands during intermission to pass the helmet to support fellow driver Brianna Sheppard who was seriously injured in an auto accident this week.
The Street Sock winner was Travis Wallbaum followed by Josh Smith and Shannon Eskew. Todd Rush took home the Pony Stock feature ahead of John Jackson.
