We know some of you have inquired about the forecast at Jacksonville Speedway for today. Every day for the past three days, there has been a 60% chance of rain in Jacksonville and so far it hasn’t rained a drop. The same holds true for today. The track and grounds are dry at the moment, and the forecast calls for a 60% chance today and 50% tonight.
It is our intention to proceed as if we are going to be able to race tonight, unless Mother Nature proves otherwise. Everyone is capable of looking at forecasts and radar and making judgments on our chances as well as we can. Everything depends on when and how much… if at all. They’ve been wrong for 3 days in a row so far. We are hoping to make it four. As things stand at the moment, WE ARE RACING.
