We are pleased to report that after a very hard flip Friday night, two-time defending Sprint Invader Champion “Lil’ Dude” Bobby Mincer is back at work today – although certainly a little sore. Bobby was taken to a hospital in Springfield Friday night and was later released with a concussion and bruisng near his lungs. Since his release he has been stiff and sore and battling quite a bit of nausea.
Mandi Mincer tells us that Bobby is going to be fine but was told to take it easy a few days. She’s not sure if he will be back to racing this weekend, but expect for him to be racing again in a few weeks. She also wanted to express their thanks to: “… all the emergency people at the track, the Invader officials and Bobby Hawks and especially the two hospitals for making sure everything was ok before letting him go home. We’ve had so many phone calls, prayers and messages from people that the support has been amazing and we really appreciate all of it.”
We look forward to having Bobby back with us racing at the front in the near future.
