The POWRi midgets never fail to disappoint at the Jacksonville bullring, with the last three races being won by Bryan Clauson, Brad Loyet and Mike Hess, respectively – all three of whom have multiple national midget series championships under their belts. The areas best 410 winged sprint drivers will be on hand getting a night at Jacksonville behind them in preparation of next week’s MOWA opener. The street stock class with its strong contingent of local racers has provided some of the track’s best racing week in and week out in the past.
Pits open early at 3:30 due to an expected large car count. Grandstands open at 5:00. Driver’s meeting at 6:00, Hot Laps at 6:30 with racing at 7:00.
Grandstand admission is $20 with children 12 and under free. Pit passes are $30.
Sprint cars will follow MOWA rules with a Hoosier SC15 or SC25 on the right rear. Passing points will be utilized for the sprints. There will not be a sprint car dash, but there will be a draw for a feature inversion.
Street stocks will race according to UMP rules. Any questions, contact us at track@jacksonvillespeedway.com
