Due to the excessive heat the races for Friday night have been canceled. Heat indexes are expected to continue well above the 100 degree mark through the time racing is scheduled to begin. We are unable to move back our start time due to our strict curfew.
We will return to action next Friday as we host a night of the MOWA Sprint week. We will also be promoting a night of MOWA Sprint Week action at Spoon River Speedway next Wednesday July 27. Make plans to attend these two great shows.
Next Friday will also mark the start of two months of solid action at Jacksonville Speedway with many great special events planned throughout the remainder of the season. Rain, water shortages, and now heat have taken their toll on the first part of our season, but we are confident that we can conclude the season with two months of uninterrupted action. We hope you can join us at Spoon River and Jacksonville to get it started next week.
