It has been an awfully wet week here in Jacksonville, but the storm that passed through the area Thursday evening skirted the speedway to the South. That looks to have been the break we needed to race as scheduled Friday. The pit area is extremely wet at the moment with some standing water, but with a day of preparation tomorrow and barring any unforeseen circumstance or more weather, it looks like we have a very good chance of racing.
We will know more Friday morning, and if something happens to change our plans we will make every effort to get the word out before noon.
Our Friday night show will be Open Winged Sprints, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Sportsman and Hornets. Modifieds will be racing in the first leg of the Tri Track Challenge with the other two events scheduled at Macon Speedway on Saturday and Shepps Speedway on Sunday. There will be a $600 point fund for this weekend’s challenge.
