In tribute to one of Jacksonville’s best racers and longtime co-promoter of Jacksonville Speedway, the Ron Milton Race of Champions will determine championships in the Midwest’s premier open wheel divisions on Saturday October 11th. The MOWA Sprint Car Series presented by Casey’s General Stores, the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series and Speedway Motors POWRi Outlaw Micros will all be racing for their season Championships on this special Saturday event at Jacksonville Speedway.
Track championships will also be decided in the UMP Modified and Street Stock divisions. The 2nd annual 100 lap hornet enduro will be held in the afternoon. The hornet enduro will begin at noon with hot laps for the evening races at 6:15 with racing at 7:00.
This will also be Nostalgia night with many vintage race cars and memorabilia on display throughout the day and evening.
Adult admission is $25, ages 11-18 $7, and kids 10 and under Free.
