It’s a double barrel opening night this Friday April 11th at Jacksonville Speedway as the MOWA Sprint Car Series presented by Casey’s General Stores opens its season along side the season-opener for the Midwest Big Ten Late Model Series. Also in action will be Micro Sprints and UMP Hornets. 410 Winged Sprints and UMP Super Late Models on the same card always proves to be a great night at Jacksonville Speedway and Friday should be no exception. Three-time defending MOWA champion Jerrod Hull will begin his quest for a fourth consecutive championship Friday while Berlin’s Steve Sheppard, Jr will be defending his 2013 Big Ten Late Model Championship.
Also in action will be Micro Sprints and UMP Hornets. Tickets for this special event featuring dual headliners are $20 for adults, $7 for children ages 11-18 with Children 10 and under Free. Pit gates open at 3:30, Grandstand opens at 5:00, Driver pill draw closes at 6:00 with hot laps at 6:15 and racing at 7:00.
